Watch Canelo Alvarez vs Daniel Jacobs Undercard On 4 may Saturday Night
Bilal Akkawy, the 25-year-old Australian super middleweight and a competing accomplice for Canelo Alvarez, will allegedly fight on the Canelo-Jacobs card on May 4 in Las Vegas.
Akkawy (19-0-1, 15 KO) worked with Alvarez before Canelo’s rematch with Gennady Golovkin a year ago, and is back in his camp again for the Jacobs fight.
He talks exceptionally of working with Alvarez and coach Swirl Reynoso:

You feel like all your diligent work over each one of those years — like the last six, seven years — it sort of like, ‘Okay, it’s begun to satisfied.’ In any event somebody recognizes it.”
Akkawy is positioned in the main 10 by the WBA and IBF, and is wanting to get a title shot. He went to the U.S. for a couple of fight in 2018, beating Cristian Olivas on the Thursday before Canelo-GGG II, and after that Victor Fonseca on the Canelo-Fielding undercard on Dec. 15. He also scored a success over previous WBA auxiliary titleholder Giovanni de Carolis in Feb. 2018 in Australia.
